1. Constitutional Education Programme (CEP)
This programme seeks to promote citizens’ awareness of their constitutional and human rights. It anchors the achievement of these on the existence of vibrant community based structures, participation of citizens in governance and utilization of traditional and other comparative methods of conflict prevention, management and transformation.
2. Political Empowerment and Governance Programme (PEGP)
The purpose of this Programme is to empower citizens and leaders to practise constitutionalism and good governance in management of public affairs. Its key activities include: developing leadership and resource management skills, and facilitating the formation of active citizens’ community monitoring groups so as to ensure accountability and transparency in management of public affairs.
3. Citizens Rights Advocacy Programme (CRA)
This programme is premised on the fact that all citizens need to enjoy their basic rights and needs as enshrined in the country’s constitution and international human rights instruments. The programme seeks to bring these concerns to the attention of duty bearers (governmental and otherwise) so as to have the international instruments domesticated and monitored.
4. Gender Mainstreaming and Affirmation Programme (GMAP)
This Programme oversees and ensures that all programmes, institutional set-ups and practices are gender responsive and promote inclusion of all categories of disadvantaged population groups in all respects.
